Ingredients
Serves
5
- 400g B Strong Pulled Pork
- 5 white bread rolls
- Mayonnaise or mustard, for spreading
- Hot sauce or barbecue sauce, to serve
Classic Slaw
- 110g mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- ¼ large cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, cut into julienne
- ½ white onion, thinly sliced
- 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Heat Pulled Pork:
- Preheat the oven to 150°C (if you prefer a more traditional roasting approach).
- Place the B Strong Pulled Pork in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes to heat through, stirring occasionally. Since the pulled pork is already slow-cooked, this step is just to warm it up and let it absorb the brine flavors.
- Optionally, increase the temperature to 200°C for 5-10 minutes to create a bit of caramelization on the edges of the pork.
- Prepare Slaw:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, and vinegar.
- Add the cabbage, carrots, onion, and spring onions, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss everything together and refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and soften.
- Assemble Sliders:
- Spread the bread rolls with mayonnaise or mustard.
- Add a generous portion of B Strong Pulled Pork on each roll.
- Top with the classic slaw and drizzle with hot sauce or barbecue sauce as desired.
